STRiVE (A company incubated by IFMR Trust) & Collabrant Incubators have entered into a strategic partnership to promote Vocational Academy India Private Limited.

STRiVE & Collabrant together through the Vocational academy purport to bridge the gap between rural & Semi Urban towns with the urban areas through Vocational Education and would like to build a network of various stakeholders in the ecosystem in order to help youth transit into employment in a smooth fashion.

The Objective of Vocational Academy is

• To bridge the skill gap and provide trained manpower to various emerging Service Sector in India.
• To be positioned in the customers / consumers mind as an ITI for Service Sector.
• To strive towards the development of skilled manpower for diversified sectors through structured job oriented short term courses.

Resulting in “bridging” Bharat where the “manpower” is available and India Inc where the “Jobs” are available.

Vocational Academy will roll out Training centre in every district HQ of the country over the next three to five years to augment the objective of the Company.

The Company will also be certifying and empanelling corporate trainers across India who will up grade the skills of the existing manpower in the service sector.

The Company would be commencing the Training centers including corporate training and certification by April 2009.
